Paving - W Avenue O - Bell County

Waco — This Tuesday, April 16, TxDOT’s contractor will perform paving operations on W Avenue O at the SL 121 intersection. These operations will require crews to close the west side of W Avenue O daily on the west side of SL 121 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through the end of next week, weather permitting.

The closure will temporarily make W Avenue O a one-way street during the paving operations. Motorists should expect delays during the work.

This work is part of TxDOT’s ongoing project to widen SL 121 from W Avenue O to Sparta Road to a four-lane divided highway, add shared-use paths and sidewalks, and add a two-way left turn lane from Sparta Road to FM 439.

TxDOT encourages motorists to slow down, eliminate distractions, and buckle up driving through work zones.
