Regional Active Transportation Plan (RATP)
Regional Active Transportation Plan (RATP)
Building on Texas’ historic trail legacy and modern, data-driven safety practices, the Regional Active Transportation Plan (RATP) establishes a vision for a safe, connected, and accessible system that supports all forms of human-powered and low-speed electric travel. While the plan emphasizes walking and bicycling as core transportation modes, it also recognizes the regional importance of equestrian, paddling, and recreational trail connectivity.
The plan was approved by the Policy Board on May 20, 2026.
