Roadway Reconstruction - FM 1829 - Coryell County

Waco – Next Monday, May 26, TxDOT will start a road reconstruction project on FM 1829 in Coryell County.
Crews will perform reconstruction operations, including full rehabilitation on FM 1829 from US 84 to FM 107, enhancing the safety of the roadway and improving driver experience. The project will require full closure of FM 1829 from US 84 to FM 107 as crews replace the North and South Greenbriar Creek bridges. The project is scheduled to conclude early 2026. Local access will be maintained.
The contractor on the $4.8 million dollar project is Big Creek Construction, LTD.
Local motorists should expect delays.
